Geranium dress mark II

This is the second attempt at Made by Rae’s geranium dress that I so liked. The fabric is a rather gorgeous organic cotton needlecord from Cloud 9. I happened to walk through John Lewis’ when they had a sale on and thanks to some vouchers I had left over cost me the grand total of £4.

£4 freaking quid!!

The grand plan was to make a dress for Mini Me and her new dolly. Sadly it turns out Christmas was early this year (the only reason I can give – being disorganised is surely not the reason??) so dolly’s dress is a little delayed.

Anyhoo I went with view B with the plain scoop neck. It took me exactly 1 evening to start and finish this dress and I think it is truly fabulous.

Again.

Made by Rae could be my new favourite pattern company for Little Girls.

Excuse the carrot – she wanted to be a reindeer (don’t we all!).
